Comprehensive Education Sector Review (CESR) – Phase 3

This phase of the Comprehensive Education Sector Review, Myanmar focused on the development of costed plans for the systematic reform and improvement of Myanmar’s education system including the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.

Main tasks implemented by the Consultant:

• Provided advice and technical support to the TVET technical team and the national consultant(s) of the CESR TVET Working Group needed for costed planning of CESR recommendations
• Capacity development to the twelve national members of the CESR TVET Working Group
• Supported stakeholder dialogues with private sector organisations (industry associations, chambers) and relevant departments and line agencies of the Government
• Reported to the CESR Task Manager and the GIZ Myanmar
