Phase 2 of the Comprehensive Education Sector Review implemented in-depth research on the current situation and reform needs of different education sectors, including the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Sector. 

The Consultant worked in the CESR TVET Working Group and implemented the following main tasks:

  • Provided advice and technical support to the TVET technical team and the national consultant(s) needed for the in-depths analysis of the TVET sector in Myanmar
  • Provided capacity development to the twelve members of the TVET technical team and the national consultant(s).
  • Supported stakeholder dialogues with relevant departments and line agencies of the Government at national 
  • Reported to the CESR Task Manager and the GIZ Team Leader
